A huge success! The fifth annual bluegfx expo took place on the 6th November, and again, it was a fantastic day full of great speakers and new technologies!

With nearly 300 people attending the event, there was something for everyone in the industry to get excited about! Supported by our valued sponsors, you got the chance to learn more about the latest product demonstrations from Autodesk, Nexenta's software storage solutions, the first official UK release of V-Ray 3.0 for Maya from the Chaos Group, getting hands on with the latest Wacom’s, AMD’s update on the latest graphics and compute, plus what’s new with Adobe Creative Cloud.

October 2013

We once again returned to the Film Museum and with enormous thanks to our special guest speakers and sponsors we had another fantastic expo!

Highlights included Framestore showing how they put together the opening credits to Skyfall, Blue-Zoo on how they produce BAFTA winning animation, an early preview of version 3 of V-Ray for 3ds Max plus the latest developments from Autodesk.

November 2012

This year’s bluegfx expo moved to the Southbank as the atmospheric London Film Museum hosted the 3rd expo and are proud to say that it was the best one so far.

With nearly 300 attendees, special presentations from the Likes of The Moving Picture Company, Framestore, Passion Pictures, Blue Zoo, 4T2 and Taylor James plus demo’s from the leading tech providers in the CGI and VFX industries…the day was a great success!

November 2011

On the 3rd November 2011, and despite the rain, Ravensbourne opened their doors to welcome over 180 guests to the 2nd bluegfx expo.  The day was a huge success and all guests were treated to special talks from the leading lights of the Film & TV, Games and Design Viz industries, along with product demonstrations from the likes of Autodesk and Chaos Group and lively panel discussions, debating the hottest topics.

May 2011

The day was aimed at all people involved in content creation from the Games, Film & TV and Design Visualization industries who were keen to learn something new. We had some amazing guest speakers from industry leaders who walked guests through their workflow, along with breakout sessions with our suppliers who demonstrated their latest tools.
